Wedding Catering Nelson “The Ponds” Private venue, Appleby

Katie and Andie got married at a beautiful private property in Appleby in the Nelson Tasman region.

The extensive grounds featured a pretty lake and a stunning little forest surrounded by beautiful hills and farm land.

The challenge: no electricity, no water and very uneven ground to cover the rather large distance.

I loved Katie and Andy’s amazing ideas for their big day. It was so much fun to create 3 distinctly different areas.

Champagne and canapes by the lake followed the ceremony.

“The woods “providing the perfect backdrop to our first ever grazing table where guests enjoyed drinks games and delicious snacks.

Finally, a relaxed buffet style dinner.

One of the highlights Mr Whippy surprising the guest with a visit.
